This is the prototype that became the Lamborghini Gallardo and it was known as L140.The first rumours suggested that its official name would be Stella and, as usual, several spy shots and renderings of the final product appeared in the media.
The name Gallardo was registered with Murciélago and was the chosen one for the "baby lambo".
